I'm begging for suggestions on how to kill enormous ants with pincers. Any advice?!?!? I also encourage suggestions on how to keep them out of my house to begin with. They freak me out.
Yikes, Sarah! Oh, how I do not like any insects with pincers! And, ants with pincers, sends chills through me. This is what I have tried here in Vermont in the Summertime, for our regular Vermont ants!
Mix: Borax with sugar and water to make a paste. Place this mixture in cute little dishes (of course!!) near all entrances into your home. It is dreadful what happens when the ants eat this tasty treat, so I won't go into it!
Another idea, I have heard but never tried: Sprinkle baby powder around entrances.
The very best of luck, Sarah. And, to think, I was so worried about you and earthquakes all this time! Keep us posted as to what actually works for you and the ants. Love, Mary Ann
